Problems with analysis update

Hi! I recently added my project to ohloh, and altough it says that the update is done on https://www.ohloh.net/projects/openezx/enlistments it never updated the code analysis at https://www.ohloh.net/projects/openezx/analyses/latest .

Is this normal? Should i just wait longer?

Hi Daniel,

No, sorry, this is not normal -- we've been making some changes to our job scheduler lately, and there are some bugs.

I've manually scheduled an code analysis for this project, and we shouldn't have this problem again.

Thanks, Robin

Hi, I'm getting a similar issue. I added a second enlistment to my project (we're doing a complete rewrite of the project), and while the enlistment downloaded fine 4 days ago, the code analysis has not yet happened.

Hi Raoul,

In this case, it seems we are having some problems using svnsync with this repository. We aren't receiving any error message, but the svnsync operation fails with a 200 error (which should mean success!).

I'm not sure what the error is, but I think I can work around it by falling back to an older Subversion importer we have that doesn't use svnsync. I'll start the download now, and I'll keep an eye on it.

Thanks, Robin

Hi Robin,

I've been having a few problems with SourceForge.net's Subversion repository, so I think the fault may lie on their side.

However, the code has come down and the code analysis seems to be done.

Thanks a million!

Hi Daniel,

I have a bit of bad news: OpenEZX ran into a problem with our git importer. To fix, a full re-import of the commit history is required, which I've scheduled. This is a fairly common problem due to trouble we have with certain git merges.

But OpenEZX's has over 100K commits in its history, it's cloned from linux kernel perhaps, so each re-import will require a significant amount of back-end processing for ohloh.

Until we fix our git importer problem, expect updates to OpenEZX to happen less frequently than most projects. Sorry about this and thanks for understanding.
